Hank's Photo Shoot

My friend Catherine is a photographer, so I had her take some pictures of Hank that I could have blown up and framed for Alex's birthday. They turned out GREAT...so great that I can't wait to have her take some more. Alex loved his birthday gift! Thanks again Catherine!

It's been 4 Years!!!

Alex and I celebrated our 4th Anniversary by going to a movie...something we haven't done in a really, really long time. We of course pigged out on the usual concession stand goodies - popcorn, coke, snickers, hot tamales. Let's just say that the baby definately let me know that it didn't appreciate all the junk for dinner. We came home and I headed straight for the tums...and then off to bed. Sorry baby!!!

The Baby's Furniture

We purchased the baby's furniture at Nebraska Furniture Mart this weekend. Alex (the construction guy) actually put the crib together in the living room and then realized that it wouldn't fit through the bedroom door...even though he tried persistently. So, he ended up taking it back apart and reassembling it in the baby's room. Luckily, the dresser/changing table came completely assembled so all we had to do was move that into place.
