9 Months Old!

All bundled up and ready to go to the doctor last Friday. Her 9 month stats were - 17 lbs 8oz (25th%) and 27 1/2 inches tall(50th%).

Finally All Caught Up

First of all, I must apologize to those of you who have been checking the blog regularly for updates. One would think that working for the family business and staying home with Avery part-time would allow me more time to post updates, but unfortunately the blog has suffered from neglect over these last few months. Honestly, I think that a huge part of it was that I liked having the blog to look at while I was at work and away from her all day. So naturally, now that I am home with her there wasn't as big of a priority to keep it updated...or so I thought. In recent weeks, many of our faithful blog followers have voiced their concerns and I have promised to be more dedicated to keeping you all up to speed on What's Happening with the Hansen's.

So, I hope you have a few minutes...cuz there is a lot of catching up to do. :) Enjoy!

Got Milk?

Daddy let Avery have a sip of his milk at dinner the other night and she LOVED it! I couldn't help but snap a few pics of her with her little milk mustache.

She's growing on him...

A few months ago, Hank wouldn't even let Avery come within 6 ft of him. BUT THEN...he figured out that she has lots of yummy food...and she's an easy target to steal it from.

Learning to pet the puppy "nicely".

We're still practicing - "nice puppy"

Hank is such a good sport about it. You can tell he is starting to love her a little more with each day...or should I say with each dropped piece of food - haha! :)

Reading him her favorite book "You're My Little LoveBug"

Although, sometimes he does still hide out from her...in our closet. Silly dog!!!

Happy Halloween

Alex and I have never really been too big on celebrating Halloween and this year was especially low key for us b/c mommy was not feeling to good that day. No costume (just this cute pumkin outfit)...no candy...heck, we didn't even have a real pumpkin this year. And yes, we are very aware that this is probably the only year we will be able to get away with this kind of behavior.

Who needs costumes and candy, when you've got ceramic pumpkins! :)
