We love Valentine!!!

Alex and I took our annual trip to Valentine, NE to go canoeing down the Niobrara River. We invited our next door neighbors, Mark and Sarah to come along. They are expecting a baby 5 weeks after us, so Sarah and I made sure to drink lots of water and lather on the sunscreen. The weather was perfect this year and we canoed on Sunday, so we basically had the river to ourselves. We took the longer trip this time and Alex finally got to see the Stairstep Falls. We can't wait to go back again next year - We just wish the drive wasn't so long. It's especially long when you have to make so many potty stops for the two pregnant women in the car!
