We spent last weekend with my parents in Grand Island at a Glover family reunion. One of my dad's cousins lives on a lake and hosts a family get together each summer. This was the first time that Avery has felt sand between her toes and she absolutely loved it! I was too busy enjoying the moment with her to worry about getting a picture, so you'll just have to take my word for it.
Avery also got to spend some quality time with Grandma and Grandpa while Alex and I drove to Kearney that night for a couples shower for our friends Crystal and Reggie. She even got to meet my Uncle Joe and Aunt Laura that live there in Grand Island.
Alex and I had fun in the paddle boats and definitely got a leg workout!
